Adopt a Plott Hound / Mixed (short coat)

Plott Hound / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Isadora (Isa) the Dog needs a home

Isadora (Isa for short) was found and rescued along with her 8 puppies (underneath a house) and Big Boy (who is likely the daddy of the puppies).  The puppies were about a week old when we finally got them out and Isa seemed very grateful for a safe place and consistent food and water for her and her babies.  She's an EXCELLENT momma!!  Even with limited food for herself, she kept her babies fat and healthy.  She's young, about 2 years old, we think.

She has come a long way in a short time.  She has come out of her shell and loves greeting people when they come home and is very fond of the children in the house.  She loves to get love and attention.  She's also discovered that she is a big fan of air conditioning :D

She's been very tolerant of other dogs around her babies, though occasionally she'll turn into momma bear and run everyone out for some peace and quiet.  She pays attention to the cats, but has not messed with them so far.  We will watch this over the next few weeks to make sure she does well with cats.

The babies were born around August 1, 2017, so momma will be ready for her new home around Sept 26, 2017.

Adoption fee will include spay. microchip, dewormer and all current vaccines.

Ask about this brave and sweet girl today and how to meet her and make her part of your forever family.
